Trustees Approve New School for the Environment at UMass Boston

Celebration of Support: Scholarship Reception
Donors enjoyed the opportunity to meet the recipients of their scholarship support at the annual Celebration of Support event on February 25. In turn, students received the opportunity to express their gratitude to the university's donors.The gathering highlighted the important role scholarships play in enabling deserving students to have the opportunity to pursue higher education.

At the event, Danielle Paez '13 shared how the scholarship has provided a ripple effect of positive momentum in her life. She stands in front of Chancellor J. Keith Motley, PhD (center) and is surrounded by her family.
