Event Description - Exhibit Reception: Contemporary African American Surgeons
"OPENING DOORS: CONTEMPORARY AFRICAN AMERICAN ACADEMIC SURGEONS"
You are cordially invited to attend a reception for the Opening Doors exhibit, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, which will be held at the Walter Grossman Memorial Gallery on the 5th floor of Healey Library at the University of Massachusetts Boston.


This event is sponsored by the Department of Africana Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston in collaboration with the National Institutes of Medicine and the National Library of Medicine.

The reception will be held from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013. The exhibit will be on display at the Healey Library until March 28 during regular library hours.
 
To attend the reception on March 18 you must RSVP by Monday, March 11, 2013  via e-mail kam.freeman@umb.edu. Or by calling 617.287.7275.
 
PLEASE NOTE:  If you plan attending the reception, plan to arrive on campus between 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m,. so that you may have adequate time to park.
